Recently shipped

  1. Quick notes collected across days now say which day each one was · minor

    A pinned or weekly quick-notes note used to fill with time-only lines that all looked like today; each line now carries the day it was spoken, while the per-day note stays as it was — the date is already its title.

  2. Deliveries parked by the Apple Notes permission resume on their own

    If a note queued while Oris wasn't allowed to control Apple Notes — the permission switched off, or reset — turning the permission back on and reopening Oris is now enough: everything that was waiting delivers by itself, including an attempt that was cut off mid-write, which Oris first checks against the note so nothing lands twice.

  3. Setup can't skip past an unfinished destination · minor

    The walkthrough's Continue button now waits until the destination you picked is actually set up, the Apple Notes permission row leads with the button that fixes what it reports — granting access, or opening the right System Settings pane and re-checking when you return — and the quick-note settings name the real way to change where notes land.

  4. Transcription works fully offline once the model is on disk

    A cached transcription model now loads without touching the network, so a recording stopped on a plane, behind captive-portal Wi-Fi, or during an ISP blip transcribes exactly like one on a healthy connection — and when a model genuinely does need downloading, the status bar says so instead of sitting on “preparing”.

  5. Stuck deliveries knock, and delivered quick notes open in Apple Notes · minor

    When a capture can't be delivered and ends up waiting, Oris now posts one notification — it's saved in Oris, and clicking brings you to the queue — instead of leaving the Recordings badge to be discovered by accident. And a quick note that already landed in Apple Notes offers Open in Apple Notes, taking you straight to the note it went to.

  6. Quick notes and Apple Notes agree on where a capture lives · minor

    A quick note held in Oris now marks itself sent the moment it reaches your Notes note — pressing Send again can't make a second copy — the Recordings tab shows a count whenever captures are still waiting to deliver, and the Voice tab names the Notes folder and note your quick notes actually append to.
